The newly developed functional masterbatch is an innovative additive launched for the diversified needs of the plastic industry. By adding specific functional ingredients (such as anti-aging agent, antibacterial agent, antistatic agent, toughening agent, flame retardant, etc.) to the masterbatch, it can be customized to give single or multiple special properties to plastic products, and is compatible with various processing processes such as injection molding, blow molding, rolling, pipe, etc., greatly expanding the application scenario of plastic products. In specific applications, the functional masterbatch is highly targeted: the anti-aging functional masterbatch is added with high-efficiency ultraviolet absorber and antioxidant, which is suitable for outdoor injection molded parts (such as automobile exterior parts), blow molded products (such as outdoor water tanks), and pipe materials (such as municipal water supply pipes), which can effectively delay the aging and degradation of plastics and extend the service life of products; Antibacterial functional masterbatch contains antibacterial ingredients such as silver ions and zinc ions, which are suitable for injection molded plastic parts used in food contact (such as tableware, fresh-keeping boxes), medical plastic products, and blow molded drinking water buckets. It can inhibit bacterial growth and ensure safe use; Antistatic functional masterbatch can reduce the surface resistance of plastic products and is used for injection molded casings and roll formed packaging films in the electronics industry to avoid electrostatic adsorption of dust or damage to electronic components; Toughening functional masterbatch improves the toughness of Brittle plastics (such as PVC and PS) by adding elastic components, making it suitable for pipes and injection molded parts used in low-temperature environments and enhancing the impact resistance of the products. In addition, the new functional masterbatch can also achieve "multi effect integration", such as anti UV+toughening composite masterbatch, antibacterial+anti-static masterbatch, etc., to meet the needs of complex scenarios. When in use, the addition ratio of functional masterbatch is usually between 1% and 5%, which needs to be adjusted according to functional requirements and product use. It has excellent compatibility with various mainstream plastics (PE/PP/PVC/ABS, etc.) and can achieve performance upgrades without adjusting processing parameters, providing flexible and efficient solutions for plastic product enterprises.
